Each hall has PASS (Peer Academic Support Services) volunteers who are willing and able to help you. PASS members offer to lend a hand in their best classes where you might need a hand. You can visit PASS members in any building! As soon as we have some PASS members identified for this year, you will be able to click on the link on the logo above to see a list for each hall.

What will you find here?
Welcome to the ARM Academic Success Spot. As you know, each of your buildings has at least one ARM, or Academic Resource Mentor. But there are lots of you, and
they
can't be everywhere at once, so we've created this page to provide you with some
resources that you can access when your ARM isn't there to help.
Who and what are the ARMs?
ARMs are Academic Resource Mentors -- peers whose goal is to help you find the information, locate the resources, and connect you to people who can help you in your academic endeavors. They provide academic and life skills programming, too. ARMs have office hours in your halls, when you can see them to get assistance. They are students, just like you! They can also help you touch base with PASS members, student volunteers who offer tutoring or assistance in subjects they do well in.
We're sure you'll see your ARM around in the building, but just in case, here are the ARMs for 2017-18 (scroll down!):

Megan Cancelliere |
Centennial Hall |
Hi! My name is Megan and I am an ARM in Cenntenial Hall. I am
a Junior Social Work major. I am starting my first year as an ARM and I could
not be more excited. I am really into reading, and it usually pertains to my
major, but if you have any suggestions do not hesitate to tell me! I also like
Netflix, and I have a (sometimes unhealthy) love for coffee. I can not wait to
work alongside everyone this year. Come stop by anytime! |

Shannon Lynch |
Fairfield Hall |
Hello! My name is Shannon and I am the ARM in Fairfield Hall.
I am a Nursing major, a member of the Kathwari Honors Program and a part of the
field hockey team here at WCSU. My goals for the semester include motivating and
supporting the residents academically in the hall. I hope to be a good resource
for the residents and I hope that I can help them transition into their first
year of college smoothly. I consider myself good at time management and organization. My
strengths academically include math and science. Math and Science are not the
extent of the help I can provide. As an ARM, I can (and will) seek out answers
and provide a direction for residents. I am super excited to start this year! |

Emily Chauvin |
Grasso Hall |
Hi everyone! My name is Emily and I’m the
ARM for Grasso this year. I’m going into my Junior year as a Creative Writing
major. That means that I am more than happy to help with papers, either by
bouncing ideas off of or developing a thesis.. Other than writing help, I can
provide academic advice and inspiration, or just be there as a good study buddy!
I am here for you in whatever way I can be to help you on your journey to reach
your goals. I love music and books, so ask me if you need a
recommendation, or let me know if there’s some cool band or author I should
check out! I also love art, nature, thrifting, and hanging out with my friends.
I hope to utilize these passions to put on some creative programs and do some
rockin’ academic counseling that everyone can come learn from!
